Professors publish research projects. Students apply with a CV and a motivation letter they write on the platform. Around that sit the student research circles, a directory of laboratory techniques, and the thesis supervisor listings.

University accounts only. You sign in with your @umfcluj.ro account, and so do the students. No separate registration, no new password.

Profesorii publică proiecte de cercetare. Studenții aplică cu un CV și o scrisoare de motivație pe care o scriu chiar pe platformă. În jurul lor stau cercurile studențești, un director de tehnici de laborator și listele de coordonatori de licență.

Doar conturi universitare. Intri cu contul tău @umfcluj.ro, la fel și studenții. Fără înregistrare separată, fără parolă nouă.

A circle here is a page the circle owns: what is coming up, what it announced, what it presented, who is in it.

Three roles, kept apart on purpose.

• The student coordinators run it. Meetings, announcements, members, the words on the page.
• You supervise it. You confirm who the coordinators are, and every project the circle publishes goes out under your name.
• The research department keeps the listing and the keys. The staff names the university publishes, and the links that hand a circle to somebody new.

Un cerc aici e o pagină care aparține cercului: ce urmează, ce a anunțat, ce a prezentat, cine face parte din el.

Trei roluri, ținute separat intenționat.

• Coordonatorii studenți îl conduc. Întâlnirile, anunțurile, membrii, textul de pe pagină.
• Tu îl coordonezi. Tu confirmi cine sunt coordonatorii, iar fiecare proiect al cercului apare pe numele tău.
• Departamentul de cercetare ține lista și cheile. Numele cadrelor didactice publicate de universitate și linkurile prin care un cerc e predat cuiva nou.

The page is public and works signed out, which is the point when the link is in an Instagram bio.

A visitor sees the name and discipline, what is coming up, what the circle wrote about itself, the supervising staff, and one button to get in.

The words are the circle's own. We do not write a description for a circle, in any language. Whatever it posts also appears in Activity, one feed across all the circles.

Pagina e publică și funcționează neautentificat, ceea ce contează când linkul stă în bio pe Instagram.

Un vizitator vede numele și disciplina, ce urmează, ce a scris cercul despre el însuși, cadrele didactice coordonatoare și un buton prin care intră.

Textul e al cercului. Noi nu scriem descrierea unui cerc, în nicio limbă. Ce postează apare și în Activity, un flux comun tuturor cercurilor.

• Announcements Updates with no date. Unlike a story, they stay findable.
• Presentations Posters, talks, abstracts, papers, awards. What a student reads to decide whether the circle does anything.
• Projects What the circle is recruiting for.
• Page The logo, the cover image, the order of the sections.
• Details Name, description, when you meet, who may join, and the supervising professor.

• Pagină Logoul, imaginea de fundal, ordinea secțiunilor.
• Detalii Numele, descrierea, când vă întâlniți, cine se poate alătura, profesorul coordonator.

A project is where a student applies: a title, what the work is, what the student would do, a deadline.

You publish one yourself from Projects in the top bar, or a student coordinator writes one inside the circle and it goes out under your name. A circle project is read by the research department first; one you publish yourself is live at once.

Either way it is yours. You receive the CV, a motivation letter written on the platform rather than attached, the academic average, and the year and line of study. A student coordinator sees the names of the applicants and nothing else.

Two others can read an application: a colleague you add to the project yourself, and the research department, which administers the platform. Nobody else, at any time.

Un proiect e locul unde aplică un student: un titlu, în ce constă munca, ce ar face concret studentul, un termen limită.

Îl publici tu din Proiecte în bara de sus, sau îl scrie un coordonator student în cerc și apare pe numele tău. Un proiect al cercului e citit întâi de departamentul de cercetare; unul publicat de tine e live imediat.

Oricum ar fi, e al tău. Primești CV ul, o scrisoare de motivație scrisă pe platformă, nu atașată, media și anul și linia de studiu. Un coordonator student vede numele celor care au aplicat și nimic altceva.

Mai pot citi o aplicație doi: un coleg pe care îl adaugi tu la proiect și departamentul de cercetare, care administrează platforma. Nimeni altcineva, niciodată.

Each of these is enforced by the database, not by hiding a button.

A student coordinator can publish a project because it goes out under your name and you receive everything it collects. The row below it is why that is safe.

Fiecare rând e impus de baza de date, nu prin ascunderea unui buton.

Un coordonator student poate publica un proiect fiindcă apare pe numele tău și tot ce strânge ajunge la tine. Rândul de sub el e motivul pentru care asta e în regulă.

Public, to anyone with the link

• The name, the discipline, the description and the supervising staff.
• Meetings, announcements and the circle's track record.

Members only

• Who is in the circle.
• The group chat link.

Never public, and never visible to a student coordinator

• Applications, CVs, motivation letters and academic averages. They are read by the professor whose project it is, by a colleague that professor adds to it, and by the research department.

1. Sign in once with your university account.
2. Confirm that you supervise the circle when the platform asks. One press, on your dashboard.
3. Tell us if a name under Supervisors is wrong. That list is the university's and we keep it.

The rest belongs to the coordinators. You never have to post anything, and the platform will not send you anything you did not ask for.

2. Confirmă că ești coordonatorul cercului când te întreabă platforma. O apăsare, pe panoul tău.
3. Spune ne dacă un nume de la Coordonatori e greșit. Lista e a universității și noi o ținem la zi.

Restul le revine coordonatorilor. Nu trebuie să postezi niciodată nimic, iar platforma nu îți trimite nimic ce nu ai cerut.
